[accordion_item title=”What material is used in your safety padding?” open=”false”]
The materials we use vary depending on application. If the safety padding is to be outdoors, for example, we ensure a water-tight finish of the wrap, we would also generally use a foam that will not absorb water to avoid distortion when wet and rotting / degredation of the foam.
The foams that we use for our sports safety installations is selected depending on required performance, thickness and density. If you require specific information please contact directly and we will provide you with specific information on the best solution to your problem.

[accordion_item title=”Do you supply AND install safety padding?” open= “false”]
We offer both a supply and install sports safety service and a supply only service on most of our padding systems.
In some cases installation by us may be necessary to ensure that the maximum safety is provided for, this is especially important with safety padding installations in environments such as Time out Rooms, Seclusion Rooms, Sensory Rooms and some sporting applications

[accordion_item title=”Is your safety padding fire/water proof?” open=”false”]
The safety padding materials we use are flame retardent to ensure maximum safety is provided at all times.
The padding we manufacture can be fully water proof if required. If the safety padding is for an outdoor application the wrap and the inner foam will be of such materials that they will not absorb water to ensure that the properties of the foam do not alter when wet.
If you should require further information relating to our safety padding products specifications and characteristics please contact us by telephone or the contact form provided on this website

[accordion_item title=”Why is padding so important in schools?” open=”false”]
In Irish schools it is the responsibility of the school and the teaching staff to ensure maximum safety is achieved in all areas of the school.
Accidents are far more likely to happen in a sporting environment with students running, jumping and actively competing in all manner of sports and games. The equipment used in the games must be safe for use and so should the area in which the games are taking place.
Insufficient run-off areas and door jambs and returns are the most important areas to pad, if a student collided into a brickwork door frame or a concrete end wall the result can potentially be very serious.
Accidents in sports halls will always happen but with the application of sports safety padding in critical areas injuries arising from accidents will be greatly reduced if not prevented all together.
If you require any information on the different types of padding we can offer for your facility please contact us directly and we will provide you with the best solution possible

[accordion_item title=”Is there a charge for calling to our school?” open=”false”]
No. We dont charge for site visits or measures. We can call to your school or facility free of charge, discuss your requirements, provide you with the most appropriate solution and an official quotation for the works.
As a lot of the padding we provide is standard in its sizing we dont always need to call to you to measure up, all we need is the colour and prefered method of attachment of the padding – eyelets, velcro, screw on etc. We can discuss these points over a quick phone call and have pricing with you quickly and efficiently.

[accordion_item title=”What is your safety padding likely to cost me?” open=”false”]
Giving an exact cost for our ‘made to measure’ safety padding options can only really be done on a case by case basis. We’d need to get a basic idea of your requirement and rough size of area to be covered etc before we could raise an accurate quote for you.
However, our off the shelf padding is far easier to provide pricing on. Our wall padding starts from € 45-00 per panel, our corner / sill padding starts from € 30-00 per linear meter and our post padding is from € 55-00 per piece.
Please feel free to contact us and we will discuss your requirements and provide you with full specifications and accurate pricing.

[accordion_item title=”What is the difference between Diameter and Circumference?” open=”false”]
A common mistake is to get the circumference of your post or pillar mixed up with the diameter – its easy enough to do !!
The circumference is all the way around
The diameter is across
We can use either the diameter or the circumference as measurements, just let us know and we’ll work out the rest.
If you are unsure about taking measurements for the padding you need please contact us and we will talk you through the process to ensure your measurements are correct.
